Teso Pineapple Producers Cooperative Current activities: This primary cooperative is organized from three adjacent farmer’s villages with 115 members working on pineapple as the main cash crop cultivated together with coffee and corn as mixed farming. The villages are Teso, Gambela and Dibitcha. The potential households are 1,319 with an average land holding of 0.5 hectare per household. The cultivation practice is rain fed and harvesting period are seven months per year. October to December and April to July are months for pineapple harvest. They are selling produce of member and non-member farmers working in all the three adjacent kebeles.
